Iroise Doublet (born 1993, Rennes) lives and works in Clermont-Ferrand. She holds a Master’s degree from Beaux-Arts de Paris (2017) and is currently an artist-researcher at Ensba Lyon. She develops a multidisciplinary practice combining painting, drawing, and site-specific interventions. Her work, informed by feminist concerns with the history of representation, narration, and self-writing, focuses on the domestic space as an artifact, as well as the motifs and social forms that emerge from it. She is a member of the editorial board of La belle revue, published by In extenso.
Iroise Doublet has had recent solo exhibitions at La Tôlerie, Clermont-Ferrand (2025); Café des Glaces, Tonnerre (2023); Kunsthalle Marcel Duchamp | The Forestay Museum of Art, Cully (2023); and Gallery Ann Mazzotti, Basel (2021). Her work has been shown in group exhibitions at Ausstellungsraum Klingental, Basel (2025); In extenso, Clermont-Ferrand (2024); Strike, Paris (2024); Dorossy Salon, Seoul (2021), among others.
Iroise Doublet received the Lélo Fiaux Foundation Grant (2023 & 2024) and the Novembre à Vitry Prize (2018). She has participated in residency programs such as Hôtel des Glaces, with the FRAC Bourgogne, Tonnerre (2023); Fondazione Lac o Le Mon, Lecce (2018); and the Kimonos Art Center, Paphos (2017).
Her works are featured in the permanent collection of the City Art Fund, Vitry-sur-Seine (2018).
